THANKSGIVING

 This week has been quite the adventure! Elder Brock went on transfers and left Elder Tauai and I to go street contacting on our own. We met a guy with some crazy and questionable life stories, he talked for forever, but I think he needed a listening ear. We had some good lessons and found lots of people to teach this week. Thanksgiving was a lot of fun! We played a game called scatter ball, it was like a free for all dodgeball game with one ball. Thanksgiving dinner was really good, we went to one of the other elders friends house for dinner. It was really good to get to know her and to have a nice meal. After dinner she had us try some sparkling water and Elder Womack accidentally spit a bunch out on the floor, it was pretty funny. After that we went to some members house for pie and card games. There was a huge Christmas festival/celebration thing this week! They set up a giant Christmas tree and had a big parade and stuff, it was cool and the streets were super busy because of it. Usually we don't have enough people to try to talk to, but this was the opposite. We went around with the whiteboard and we gave out a ton of pass along cards with our numbers on it. We gave one of our friends a soft invitation to be baptized, so that was really cool! Today I made pancakes, played basketball and got my first mission haircut! It's been an adventure.
