SORRY, IT'S BEEN A WHILE...

 Happy late New year, everyone!

Sorry it's been a couple of weeks since my last email. A lot has happened since I wrote last. We celebrated new-years with some other elders, playing board games and stuff, and then it was back to work. The biggest thing that has happened was Elder Brock getting emergency transferred. An elder that was in another area got his visa for his original assignment and he was serving in a zone leader position, so when he left there was a gap that needed to be filled. Elder Brock was chosen to fill that position, so he left Elder Tauai and I to finish training each other. Things are still going great, even without Elder Brock, so that is good. Elder Tauai and I have been trying to speak only Czech to each other, it has been difficult, but I have really seen my Czech improve so far. The only problem about elder Brock leaving is that he was the only one in our companionship that could drive, so Elder Tauai and I have been biking in the snow. Ha ha. Elder Tauai and I have had some good adventures. We found a Czech/Slovak club in our area, but we haven't met anyone that goes there yet. We have been having Czech practice calls and we've heard some good new rumors about when we might be leaving for the Czech Republic. Ha ha. We got to go to a really cool museum called the Carillon Park, they had a bunch of really cool stuff there, Dayton actually has a really rich history. I got to see the Wright Brothers first plane that they could control and land, it is pretty incredible how far aviation has come in such a short amount of time since then. Hope you are all doing great! Nashledano!

  1. I love your great pictures and comments. Brother Fish keeps gathering a lot of youth every Sunday evening he can. Sister DeWitt and I have been able to help a few members share the Book of Mormom and one brother took 12 since he travels alot and loves the experiences as he shares them. We just had our missionaries come share a short message and love the spirit they bring into our home. We send our love and prayers for you and look forward to your updates. All the Best, the DeWitts
