CZECH THIS OUT!

Heyo everyone, sorry for the terrible title, I couldn't help it. I've been here in the Czech Republic for just over 2 weeks now. This week has been cool. We had exchanges with our zone leaders, that meant going over to Slovakia for a night. What I saw of Slovakia was really cool, though it is just a foreign to me as the Czech Republic, and the language in Slovakia is just as hard to understand, ha ha. We worked on making targeted Facebook posts with them, did some street contacting and blasted each other with their nerf guns. While we were street contacting we met two lady's who were both strong believers in Christ and spoke pretty good English. We also met a guy that didn't speak either Czech or Slovakian, he spoke Russian, but we were able to have a basic conversation with him using the similarities of the languages (by we I mostly mean Elder Webb and Elder Allen, I didn't understand much, ha ha). It is really cool to see all of the opportunities that are opened from learning a new language. Learning Czech is still really difficult, and is still coming slowly, but I am making progress. At church on Sunday I was able to pick out a few things, and I was able to contribute a little more in a lesson that we had afterward. On Saturday I helped a really cool member in his garden, we turned soil, dug holes and set fence posts. After that we went to clean the Church. My boots were still muddy from the garden, so I was cleaning in my socks. Elder Konushin and I were sweeping the entry hall and the mat was really dusty, so we took it out to the street and beat it with the broom. I'm sure that I was quite the spectical beating the mat in the street with no shoes on, ha ha.

I hope you have all had a great week!
