THE CZECH REPUBLIC!
I finally made it! It was quite the adventure getting here. Ha ha. After my 10 days in Batesville it was time to fly over here, I packed up all of my bags and we drove to the airport. We got there early and we were all ready to go, until the office elders realized that they had forgotten our passports. We waited at the airport while they drove back to get the passports, when they finally got back we were barely in time to check in and check our bags. We sprinted to our gate as soon as we made it through security and we made it to the gate just in time to see the airplane undock and fly off without us. The office elders came back and picked us back up, we spent the night with them. I was without a change of clothes because all of my clothes were packed away and headed to Atlanta without me, that was kind of funny. The next day I got to drive a brand new car off the lot because the mission needed new cars. Then it was time to try flying again. We had to fill out new paperwork because we needed to update the date of arrival, and we needed to get new covid tests. We had decided to just get tested at the airport, but when we got there they told us that they didn't have any tests. We had to drive back to Cincinnati and get tested there and then rush back to the airport. Luckily we made it in good time and everything went smoothly after that, that is until we got to the Czech Republic. Ha ha. After a couple of long flights we made it to the Czech Republic, but it turns out that my luggage did not. With everything that happened my luggage never made it out of Atlanta, so I spent yet another day in my dirty clothes. Luckily the next day they were able to get it here, so now I have clean clothes again! I've never been so grateful for a fresh change of clothes, ha ha. The Czech Republic is beautiful, I'm sad I didn't get to see much of Prague because Elder Tauai and I got here later than everyone else, but hopefully I'll have plenty of time to see it later. I got some really good ice cream and then we drove off to my new area in Uherské hradiště with my new companions. Since then I have visited a castle, worked In a garden, gone to Slovakia for a minute, and heard a lot of Czech that has gone right over my head. Ha ha. The language is really difficult, but I'm working on it and I know that I'll get it eventually. Here are some cool pictures, have a great week everyone!
