FIRST CZECH BAPTISM

Hey everyone, it's been a really cool week!

I started the week off with exchanges with my district leader. We went over to Olomoc and got to work. They are doing English classes over there to try and find people to teach, so I went out with Elder Nelson and Elder Konushin to hand out flyers and try to promote the English class. It was a lot of fun just walking the streets and trying to talk with people. It was hard to understand a lot of what people said, but I was able to have some semi coherent conversations with people. Ha ha. There was one lady that we approached, she apparently said that she didn't have time to talk with us but I didn't understand what she said, so I just kept talking. She ended up accepting a flier and she said that her daughter might be interested, so that was really funny. There were some other good street intercepts where people thought that they could walk around me or out speed walk me. Ha ha. Over all exchanges were really good.
I got to go to my first Czech baptism this week! Elder Konushin's brother got baptized in Prauge, so we got permission to go to the baptism. Elder Konushin baptized his brother and I got to be a witness. I also got to see Elder Tauai and Elder Allred there! It was way cool to have a mini goon squad reunion and catch up with them. Elder Konushin's parents sent us home with a bunch of food, it was really nice of them.
That's pretty much been my week, I hope you are all doing great!

  1. Great report. Semi-coherent is better than nothing. We are having fun with our missionaries out here. We have a greenie, out just 2 weeks. Our stake missionary meeting includes the digital missionaries who post online almost daily with thoughtful messages. Keep the faith and carry on. Chuck & Sorena DeWitt
