FALSE SPRING

Hey everyone, another week has come and gone. I feel like they go by faster and faster every time. It's been a good week, we had some really nice weather towards the beginning of the week, it was 50 degrees and sunny. We took the opportunity to do a lot of street contacting and we got to meet some cool people from it. One of our friends that we passed off to the sisters is doing really well, but other than that the work is still going a little bit slow for us. Lots of time trying to find, haha. 

Now at the end of the week winter is back and meaner than ever, we got some more snow and the temperatures plummeted. I guess I'll have to wait a little bit longer before I put my winter coat away. 

We also got to see a strange Czech festival called Masopust this week, it's supposed to be a celebration that starts a 40 day fast of meat and milk that lasts until Easter, symbolic of Christ's 40 day fast before his ministry. But as with many holidays it has gone pretty far from its roots, and as with all Czech holidays, many people just use it as an excuse to drink... alot. The festival was one of the now many times that I've been offered beer, though I have to say that I wasn't expecting it from this sweet old lady. Haha.
