And then there were 2

Hey everyone, sorry, this email has been a long time in the making. Quite a bit has happened since I last wrote, most notably that we moved to a new apartment, we are still in the same city (Ostrava) but we moved to a newer place here. It was kind of the end of an Era because missionaries had been living in our old apartment for some 20 years. It's weird to think that before I was even born there were missionaries in that apartment. We had to spend a whole day packing and cleaning out our old apartment, we got everything squared away and said goodbye to our nice old landlord. Since then it's been slight chaos setting up and getting settled into our new apartment. It's literally brand new, I think we're the first residents to ever live here, it's very modern and clean, so that's nice. It didn't come with any furniture, so pretty much everything in here is from Ikea. My whole pday last week was spent assembling various bookcases, drawers and tables. But that all said we are feeling pretty settled in now, so I'm happy about that.

We also just had transfers this last week, I'm sad to say that we lost Barth, but at least Elder Virga and I are still together, just in a duo now. Between my time with him in Pardubice and here in Ostrava, I've served with Elder Barth for a total of 6 months, it's been a lot of fun, he's a great guy and missionary and he'll be missed here in Ostrava. He left us for Prague, to be Presidents new assistant. With Elder Virga and I staying here this transfer my fate is pretty much set in stone, this is Elder Virgas last transfer, and then I'll probably have to show somebody the ropes of Ostrava before I leave. It's looking like this will be my last area, but there's no better place to die than Ostrava!

Quite a bit has happened with our friends, some of them are struggling to make the changes and sacrifices in their lives that the gospel requires, one of them is now in the hospital, prayers for him would be appreciated.

Well, that about it for this week, I hope that you are all doing fantastic! Have a great week. Zatím, čau
